Caveat: I don't know anything about ARMA beyond "the bullets come out of THIS end of the gun!"

I'm hoping that my medicinal heroics the other night (i.e. my jump out of the little bird at 300 ft, after which i simply healed myself... and then ran back to base) serves as somewhat of an eye-opener.

Something is wrong with how we're playing this, OR, medics are buggy as all hell. I think wounds need to be more severe, and possibly have long-lasting consequences for the remainder of the map. I should be dying WAY more. The other night, i was literally being shot in the head, healing myself, killing one of the baddies, getting shot in the head, healing myself, killing one of the baddies... etc., until all hostiles were dead. I was a damned zombie warrior!!

Loved the TE we played the other night where we couldn't heal and we were all struggling to hit targets by the end. Is it possible to set games up with more realistic damage BUT with the ability to re-spawn at the base if you die? No, i'm not willing to google any of this. :P

While i'm ranting, i find the AI is generally too fucking stupid. They're ok from far, but they're too easy up close. They don't move around (or when they do, they move out of cover), and take way too long to fire on targets. Is this possibly associated with the difficulty level we're playing on? Yes, i know that i still die lots, even with shitty AI. As i said, i should be dying MORE!

Aside from the pure moments of idiocy, which i love, it's becoming... blah. :(

That said, i'm looking for flights! :)

I think we all agree on the fact that YOU should die more LOL.

There are several options within the Patrol OPS we've been doing.
You can change injury tolerance and enemy difficulty. Latest settings were tolerance high and difficulty medium.
Takes some time to find a good balance since we're all still pretty new to the game.

Ace Wounds has not been active the last few rounds that we've done. So it's been the patrols ops own Advanced Injury System. Maybe that's making it too easy.
Maybe we want to check out the Ace Wounds again or just play with the settings.

For me it hasn't been a problem. Cuz when you crash the chopper, you're pretty much dead everytime LOL

I've noticed the dump AI when in CQB. Everytime I've spotted someone, I've had time to reload my weapon, check the map if it's friend or foe and aim for the "between the eyes" shot. And the whole time the enemy has been looking right at me.
