Yeah, that's an odd one. I've never heard of anyone running out of money during a computer upgrade because of the chair they bought. I hope your ass likes it!

My ass sends his regards. It's been a good chair :D tho it did need a few extra cushions.

I'm necroing this thread because the time has come to finally upgrade the GPU.

A lot has happened in a year and it seems the top dogs (bang for the buck) in 200-300$ range are
GTX 1060 6GB and RX 480 4GB.

Obviously these are not the newest cards out there, but I just can't justify to myself spending over 400$ for a single component for the PC.

What I hear is that the RX has a better support for the DX12 and GTX is faster with DX11.
I doubt I even have a game that uses DX12.

Also have to mention that I'm not planning to upgrade in the next 2-4 years.
