I have been playing around with this for a while now. I finally figured out how to assign a PTT button for it so now it's not trying to figure out what command to send when I'm only haveing a conversation with my wingman.
Actually it's more like an ARMing button that PTT. You only have to press it briefly before you're going to issue a command.

I gotta say this is working perfectly for me. I can communicate with the Tower, Awacs, Tanker and AI wingmen without losing the "HOTAS"
I think it's a must have to play with the AI only.

I'm using Kukki's profile as a base, but I've been modifying my own and adding new phrases to the existing commands.

Here's the link for VAC
http://www.dwvac.com/

The only negative here is that it's payware. After the 14 day trial, you'll have to buy it to use it for 18$

Here's a link to my profile

Instructions are on deejay's threat over BMS
http://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/show ... mands-(VAC)-Profiles

If you need assistance installing or seting it up I might be able to backtrace what I did to make it work :D
might...

Warning!
You might have to disable UAC in Windows.

"Computer... launch Fox2!"

Thanks for the links! I've been considering trying this out for a while.

Great thing about this is you can customize it the way you want. You can add phrases like "Tower, it's BBQ time" and you would hear the response "copy your cleared all the way in. Fire department is there waiting for your arrival" LOL

You could actually set it up so you could talk to your own jet. Think about ramp starting without the mouse or keyboard

Can you run a series of commands with a single voice command?

"Computer... commence ramp start." :D

Not entirely sure, but looks like it"s possible to have several commands under one phrase.

Little warning thought. I'm using win7 and I had to disable UAC (User account control) to make it work.

That was the only way for me to get the game to recognize the commands sent from VAC.

Plus you probably had to re-do all the commands when you were sober as it didn't recognize them the first time you did them shit faced!!! LOL
