Don't recall getting a defend town mission since the first time i played in Takistan. Could be cool... well, as cool as a defend mission (i.e. slaughterfest) can get. :D

when we defended the castle, that was a defend the town. basically anytime a defend mission came up that didnt create that camp thingy, is a defend town (my best guess)

But them again in Takistan and Sahrani, the defend missions are usually on a wide open area without any cover.

Defending a town would be cool. If that's not possible then I'll just spawn a town wherever the defend marker is LOL.

I tried to spawn enemy's that would fortify building in Cheranus, but there are not many open building in that island.
Guess I'll try Sahrani and Takistan next

Another thought how to make the game harder.. Lets increase the difficulty level?
No more map contacts?

I've noticed that I use the map to spot enemy's a lot more than my eyes

+1. Didn't know we can get rid of the map contacts. Always feel a little dirty when i use them to find the baddies.

That said, it's going to crazy hard without them. I find it really difficult to explain where shit is to you guys. The grid references are hard to use with precision (too many numbers and when i'm stressing... i barely remember my name) and my depth perception in game is brutal. It's made much worse when we're not together... "no, my left of the building".

I hear ya. I't gonna make it hard. Especially for missions where you have to kill all the enemy to get a mission accomplished.

We're probably gonna die alot more without the map contacts.

I wonder if it would be possible to make the contacts to fade out quicker from the map and not update so frequently?

i actually dont use the map as much for finding enemies, except when dropping in, or finding a baddie in relation to a friendly. (harley getting shot and im trying to save his ass.) :P

surround sound headphones have really helped my awareness.

not sure why you guys want to make it harder to play on foot? its already 100 men vs 3-4 usually...lol

keep in mind, patrol ops is designed to handle 40 players. i think we should try to scale down the enemy to smaller groups, then we wont be in long sniping battles for hours, because we wont be afraid to move because 50 troops will shoot us.

Alternatively, we could start recruiting more people to play with us to fill out our quota for 40 players. We can start with wives and kids, co-workers, siblings... random jerks... etc. Kris is already well on his way in recruiting his wife to play with him. Good initiative!

Jokes aside, seriously, real good points crazy. We're not looking at patrols ops in the correct context. Fewer enemies could solve lots of problems i think.
