THOSE ARE FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!

Engineered I assume?

I love the way the Vulture handles, but until I am upgraded enough, I just can't take it out solo. Not enough power to handle big weapons and big propulsion at the same time w/o turning off a bunch of other modules.

Still loving my Asp. Great cockpit view and I'm up to 33 LY's w/ my FSD. It took a while, but I'm starting to make good money w/ it. I sacrificed the hull for jump distance and speed. I'm using most of the money I make with it to slowly upgrade my Vulture.

BTW, sorry I was a no show on Friday night. Had something come up.

2 shots to kill shields, 4 more shots to finish the job. Won't be hot for too long.

Agreed, but that heat damage adds up over time and damages your internals... starting with the weapons. I canned the quad-PAs on my FDL because they were overheating and during long engagements, they would randomly stop PEW-PEW'ing.

yea, they are engineered.

as for the vulture, a little powerplant engineering goes a long way. once you have a rated powerplant. otherwise, just mount up some gimballed multicannons, or even normal frag cannons. those shouldnt consume much power. leaves more power for thrusters.

kinetic weps are much lower power consumption, with the caveat of having to reload.

hes not over heating from the frags. they don't generate much heat at all. they are kinetic.

he's overheating from firing a shield cell bank without using a heat sink.

They put out massive "heat per second" loads but i think it dissipates quickly. Check out coriolis. I still get heat warnings in my FDL when i fire off a whole "clip"... not like with the PAs, but it's still happening.
