Good morning, gents

a minute ago I tried to connect to the TS server, just to receive a notification "this server requires an updated version of TS"

I'm running on version 3.0.12. Yes I know it's an old version, but it is the only version I could install without getting the famous "windows has stopped responding" message, that I encountered during my last reinstall of the system.

Is there something you could do, Steve? Since you're "running" the server. I do not wish to upgrade my TS, since the version I have, has some features of "push to talk" key bindings, that the newer versions doesn't have anymore. Since it ain't broke, I don't intent to fix it.. unless it's actually not supported anymore..

Thanks

I'll take a look, but I don't have access to many of the server settings. I'm not hosting it on one of my computers, I'm renting someone else's and they use generic settings.

I'm surprised that you're having trouble with TS upgrades. This is one program I've never had any issues with.

Yeah, I had to upgrade a while ago also. I didn't really want to, because of some policy changes / data mining. But all in all it looks and works the same so no big deal.

Hey Kris, could you be so kind and confirm that you're still able to bind the "pause/break" key to PTT in the newer version?

So? I see you online now. Progress isn't so bad after all perhaps? Don't be such a Luddite (google that).

I still have an issue with TS. Using the latest version. TS is constantly sending "F11" keyboard command. That means I cannot surf the internet while on TS, because "F11" is the full screen key. So the browser keeps going full screen and back to window non stop.
An issue with falcon would be that my radar cursor is bound to "F11". So I can't use TS when flying.

Sure I could try a clean install of TS. Remove all the settings from previous setups. I would need an admin to be online for that.

I'm sure my HOTAS is next in line to go bonkers on me

Dunno if this will help, but I was having slightly similar issues with ARMA2 and teamspeak, I solved it be going to SETTINGS -> OPTIONS -> HOTKEYS, and changing the drop-down box in the lower right corner from "Default" to "Keyboard & Mouse Only".
