They can cause your fanspeed not to go above 20-30%, and thus overheating your card. Some people have reported dead cards already because of this.

Pretty sure this only affects those using overdrive (overclocking). I'm using Crimson and haven't seen any issues.

My BMS froze yesterday when I was 50 meters from the runway. Never ever had that happen to me before, so when I saw the article I put 2 and 2 together. Although, too many variables at the moment that could also have been the cause: BMS 4.33, W10, drivers.

Will monitor temps if I game tonight.

Yeah, that happened once so far in about 90 hours flown. So I kinda attributed that to a BMS glitch. But once again, hard to know for sure.

Oh yeah, the hotfix seems to be a beta driver really. But it's out now anyway.
