Jerry Reed is one of my favorites, and while this is not his greatest hit (IMO) I love this movie! I was a bigger fan of "The Snowman" than "The Bandit".

Not to mention Jackie Gleason and his performance as B.T. Justice! R.I.P. Jerry and Jackie.

Same here, loved Jerry Reed, Gleason too. And yeah, it probably is where DW got the saying.

For some reason though, it's annoying when DW says it, to me at least, as you have to hear it at the start of every race, lol
