We are putting the final touches on the Event and everything is going to schedule... we hope!

Iliyan has joined from the 72nd VFW and will be flying with Asp on the same team.

This makes 35 pilots registered and registration is now closed...

* There will 54 Jets on each side
* There is a limited amount of A-A missiles so prudence is the word of the day
* There are a lot of SAM's for both sides. Expect to be challenged
* Victory Conditions are numerous... I believe there are over 30 targets for each sides and V/C's will be available once you join the Event
* This Event will more than likely take four days to complete... this means Saturday/Sunday Feb. 22nd. & 23rd. and Saturday/Sunday March 1st. & 2nd. If you can't make opening day don't stress. Jump in when you can!
* Remember, please try to arrive early for Briefing and any and all questions should be answered on the day
* And last but not least, have fun! ( This is the War Room! No fighting in the War Room! )

We have had a member emergency. I cannot promise our participation in the upcoming event.

No probs. Hey, we had a great time 22 connected and we had them outnumbered 13 - 8. However, they were skilled and we lost 9 jets out of 10 in the first volley. Round two was hectic and once again we lost a few jets. Round three was better and we managed to hit some ground targets and make it home.

Tomorrow we go again. Hope to see those who can make it and same start time... 3pm East Coast.

Hey everyone. We tried to figure out the rejoin bug. At first we thought it might be the TE timeline was set for 48 days. We thought it might be the server, or the TE was buggy itself. Then we found there was a patch for Balkans 1.12 which was actually a BETA patch, not an official one. So we tested pilots who had the patch and those that didn't. It still did the same thing...If you join the first time, no problem. But if you disconnect from the server and then try and rejoin, no joy. We are not sure what the cause is and have never experienced it in the past. Unfortunately, unless we can find a solution we will have to end the Battle for Sicily as restarting the server 4 times in 6 hours in not what we expected. We apologise and if anyone has a cure please let us know

Have you had disconnected pilots wait a certain amount of time to rejoin the server.

I'm positive, in the code there is a limit. I think you should not attempt to reconnected prior to one minuter.

Of course that was a code restriction when I was a developer with Free Falcon, and with the recent updates who knows what the BMS team has coded.(As they did at one time work with the FF team).
