I was working a AAA site when i suddenly hear a really loud BOOM! Odd thing is that AWACS was saying the nearest bogey was 40nm away at the time. Very odd. I've heard of guys colliding during a dogfight, but 2 pilots unaware of each other and colliding in the open sky? I dunno.... something fishy is going on.

HAHA, something must have gone wrong. The SU-22 has a combat class of 6, which is the MIG-27 class, which means it is a threat. Combat class 7/8 are ignored by the AI, so, AWACS not calling him out was an oversight.

But hey, you took him out. You should be honored, I've never and I can't recall hearing of anyone colliding with an enemy and getting credit. It probably has happened, but they haven't admitted it. HAHA

I don't like to just asking AWACS for a picture, I ask for Vector to threat right after I request picture, the combination of both calls is better.
