I'll probably be doing the same Steve, once I get the ships I want. IS the FDL worth the money, or should I aim higher for a combat ship?

I love the FDL. Mine cost about 130M, all tricked out.

Is it bona-fide combat ship, or all purpose like the Asp? Will I be able to fuck up somebody's day for messing w/ me?

What kind of jump ranges can you squeeze out of it?

I'm starting to get some good passenger transport missions and might be able to make more doing that, than hauling freight. Not talking about sightseeing...those missions suck.

TBH, I tried to out fly the second interdiction and failed. Pissed me off cuz I didn't realize what was going on until I went back the second time. These guys stripped my shields in seconds. I was so pissed that I rammed the second guy w/ no shields up (his were down too) but my lightweight hull said no fuckin' way bro! and everything shut down in an instant. I fucked his shit up too, but not as bad as my own. Bet he was laughing his ass off while I was pissing and moaning.

Oh well, just a game...sigh.

FDL is pure combat ship. Jump range sucks.

passenger missions pay decent, if you have leveled up the local factions. pick a system, and do missions from there.

bounty hunting with friends is more profitable now. everyone gets the full payout.


power play isnt for everyone. i joined because i wanted the other player interaction. but flying in nano with a hudson tag is like screaming shoot me. i plan on joining asling for 4 weeks to get prismatic shields. wont be doing anything to help their power, probably just undermine grom. same thing i would be doing if i was hudson.

also, take a look how long you have been pledged. if you get rating 3, and have pledged 4 weeks, you will have access to the pacifier frag cannon.

also, if you like doing exploring. heres some systems that are profitable if you scan them. (gotta scan the planets too)
