Got a chance to do some remote work today at the southern end of Great Duck Island in Lake Huron (45.642586, -82.962517). Needed a heli to get there. Flight was in a Bell 206 at 1,200 ft. Super. Cool. Never been on a heli before... well, except for those piloted by either JB or Spaz. :)

Got exciting on the way home as we hit a snow (!!) storm and came close to doing an emergency put-down in the swamp to wait it out. As you can see in the first pic, we were outfitted with floats. Once the wind picked up, we were all over the place. Quickly dropped a few hundred feet a number of times and were wobbling all over the place. Nothing out of the ordinary if you're used to flying with spaz....

I did mention that i'm an ace vPilot. He was going to let me fly but was scared i might shoot down a friendly bald eagle or something. Saw a few by the way... beautiful.

ROTFLMAO!!!!

Was just telling JB, that when I was a kid a friend of the family took me up in a Cessna Cub and let me take over the controls in the back seat. I really didn't do much, mostly held the aircraft steady with a sway here and there, that was about it, but it was fun.

Steve, you should have brought your flight stick with you on that flight and make a "brrrrrrrrrrrr" noise with your mouth while airborne.
