We actually flew, into very hostile territory. As a result I got shot down twice and Brian was able to land on the second mission after getting shot down on the first mission. The Sinai modern campaign which I'm flying in right now can be easy at times and other times just fucking impossible (for someone of my skill level anyway) to get in and out of, alive. The area we were operating in (Bir El Abd) is heavily defended by several SA-2 sites, a HAWK site and a SA-3 site. There is also a lot of enemy CAP's being flown in the area meaning a dogfight is almost guaranteed.

Brian was able to get a couple of the Fansongs out of the way with Shrikes, disabling a couple of the SA-2 sites, but there is plenty more to clear out of the area.

This was the first mission I have hosted and everything ran fairly well...so if anybody wants to jump in and play along, let me know. I can usually be available on weeknights from around 2 A.M. Zulu, 'till around 7 or 8 A.M. Zulu. Of course I will check back with Brian, again on Saturday. I think he actually enjoyed the break from deving!

BTW, Slack...er, I mean Brian, when are you gonna post those screenies?!
