...need help!

I downloaded a bunch of smaller co-op missions (2-4 players) yesterday for Arma III. All had good reviews and people generally said that the missions were fun.

Crazy and i tried 3 of them last night on "regular" difficulty, and died each and every time. NOT A SINGLE COMPLETION! One of the missions we tried 5 or 6 times... never even saw the target once.

I'm happy to assume the majority of the blame as crazy was usually saying something like "Why are you up there already??" , or, "why are you shooting already??" just moments before we were obliterated.

NEED HELP!! I'm sure my experience with fantastical first-person-shooters (i.e. borderlands, half-life... etc.) doesn't help and has given me a deep-rooted "FPS god-complex" that may need therapy to overcome. I think patrol ops isn't helping either.

Ty? Willing to do some hand-holding one night/morning?
