there's also a command you can give to complete or fail the current task, i just always forget what it is

i think the enjoyment of patrol ops is we can do what we want. we want to work as a team? great! we want to be assholes and shoot each other? that works too. want to fly around and ignore the mission? excellent.

agreed, last night was fun, but then, flying helicopter support for the guys on the ground is fun for me too.

Can't we work as a team AND shoot each other at the same time? I know my enjoyment of the game hinges on both of these concepts working in unison!! Thanks for helping me in that regard last night spaz!!! :D

Hey, i get it... there's a fine balance to be had. For me personally, I don't like it when there are 1 or 2 of us on the ground and 2 heli's providing support. Same with tanks. Actually, i don't like tanks in general. I'm such a picky little girl. Anyway, i'm willing to keep working through it, because when it's good... it's good. :) But when it's not good, i hate you guys for not flying with me! :punch:

Just a thought... to get more mission in cities, we should try "town capture" instead of "all" or "general operations".

Tho that might get boring quite quickly..

Jay, do you know how to remove the defend missions from patrol ops?

actually, looks like it is all controlled from the patrol_ops.sqf file thats in the tasks folder.

looks like two kinds of defend missions, def_camp, and def_town. remove those, and it may or may not work. (back up the file)
