Aren't there problems with the water in 2015?

Ocean tiles could look better and there is a black patch in one of the bays between Seoul and Pyonyang (I think), but I'm not over the water that much. It's a trade off, 2015 = Better land tiles, 2014 = Better ocean tiles. 2014 doesn't look bad, but 2015 looks a little less repetitive on the ground.

I don't recall seeing issues with the water tiles in the first release of Korea 2015 (predominantly brown tiles). Sorry Kris, still haven't uploaded them, will do so tonight.

Make sure you play with your fog settings as recommended by Tomkatz as it makes a huge difference. I also recommend using the "smaller sun" mod and the clouds by Nuno Santos.

I can't find the small sun thread anymore, but i got the files from the 801st server (i believe shadow made the changes). I'll upload that tonight as well).

I swear we had a "recommended mods" thread, but i can't find it now. So, while we're here, i also recommend installing:
- fenrir's particlesys mod (A W E S O M E) http://www.bmsforum.org/forum/showthrea ... articlesys
- arrow's nvg goggles mod. http://www.bmsforum.org/forum/showthrea ... articlesys (i've got a custom 2560x1440 set that i made if anyone needs it)
- janhas' launch viper series of models. Lots of work with this one, but the end result is really nice. http://www.launchvipers.com/bms.html

I believe this is my base mods list. Any other recommendations?

Ah yes... i forgot lunch mod. Thanks jason! I'll have to post a link to that as well. You'll have to let me know what you want written on your lunch bag.

I'll make a proper thread, sticky it, and maintain it later. Check back in 3-4 weeks. :D

The textures are just copy and paste. The models need LODeditor. JanHas has very good written tutorials about how to do everything. Take a look at the bottom of his download page under BALDEAGLES LODEDITOR -- there are 2 PDFs that will take you step by step. Lots of pictures, you'll be fine. :)

So LODeditor is used to change the models. Now: why not offer people a download for the already LODded files then? Or is this machine-bound? *confused*
