Gentlemen,

Here is our "Event Airbase" Runway and traffic control rules.

We have the privilege of Live ATC with a certified Australian Air Force Air Traffic Controller.

He will vector us in for our initial landing at the start of the event and then will be controlling ground traffic during the event.

ATC directives should be followed, but once the airshow starts I'm sure most of us will be "busted" and stacked up in a holding pattern

Mud can't make the flight. He had a second surgery on his hand and has been banned from gaming by the Doc, haha

Not sure if he'll attend in person, I'll let him answer that.

Gentlemen, AVOID Coconuts..... :duh:

Brian

Thanks Guys for the update :) Sorry to hear about Chris... Ty and Tugg told me the story as well.

Please find the following SOP's:

Please note that all flights have a takeoff time with your Squadron Number as the minutes and or seconds.

The 20th VFW has a flight scheduled for: 12.00.20

The 27th VFW has a flight scheduled for: 12.00.27

The 420th has flights scheduled for: 12.04.20

The 161st has a flight scheduled for: 12.16.10

The 801st has flights scheduled for: 12:08.01

Also, any flights scheduled that are not human will takeoff and land at Kimpo Airbase by the AI. This will allow your Squadron pilots to join a Kimpo based jet should you crash your jet during the boat race and or the event. All jets have a spawn and de-spawn time of at least 3 hours... this means your favourite jet is sitting there just waiting for you to jump in.

ATC will be controlled by Scotch and there will be 20 miles of controlled airspace around OSAN ( Event AIrbase ). Please follow ATC instructions to your best ability.

TS3 is being transferred to our backup TS and can accommodate 50 Pilots. To join our TS, you will need the following address: ts3.801sttfw.com

Waypoints have been set and Include the following:

Stpt 1. Homeplate
Stpt.2. Final Approach Vector for Runway 27 at Osan... 10 miles out
Stpt.3. Osan AIrbase
Stpt 4. Kimpo AFB
Stpt.5 - 9 is the Boat Race Steerpoints
Stpt. ALT is where you refuel... wink wink

The Schedule for the event has not changed at this time:

1st. Hour - Flights depart from their home airfield and land at Osan
2nd.-3rd Hour - Aerobatics, Missing man formations and DF's
4th Hour - Depart for Kimpo and Boat Races
5th Hour - Stop Drinking! Maybe

*** WILL UPDATE AS NEEDED ***

FROM REBEL:

The 801st Special Event skin package is now ready for download here:

http://forum.801sttfw.com/index.php?/fi ... ent-skins/

Please download both the 801st Special Event Skins package and the Stock BMS Skins zips - install instructions are included in the zip files and I can provide some assistance if needed.

Note that the skin package is designed to work only with the Special Event TE that will be up on the 801st Server for the event day. All of the participating squadrons will have their own individual skins loaded by default, when they join at their designated airbase.

The Special Event Skin package contains the following specially modified skins:

801st TFW
F-16C 50 - Ahip memorial Skin
F-15C - 801st Skin (prepared by Link)
SU-30MKK - 801st Skin (especially for Shad)
KC-135 - updated skin by Dema

20th VFW
F-16C 50 - 20th skin and tailart

27th VFW
F-16C 50 - tailart

420th
F-16C 52 - tailart
CF-188 - tailart

AEF/161st
F-16C 52 - tailart and skin

Once the Event is finished, I recommend restoring the original Falcon skin files by using the files packaged in the "Stock BMS Skins" zip file, otherwise you may have some skin mismatching or other issues when flying campaigns and normal missions.

I can make the individual aircraft files available as a separate download packages after the event if anyone requires.

** IMPORTANT**
Please have the skins for the event downloaded and installed prior to the event - if you have not done this before the start of the event, you can still join and fly, but there will be absolutely no time to sort out any installs or issues on the day of the event.

Thank You - and enjoy the event :)

Hey Guys!

Absolute blast and thank you for showing up. Spaz, you really left an impression upon me with your airshow display in the F18. It was really nice to see so many painted jets and now 120Gb's of Fraps to go through... hope to have a vid in two weeks :)
