Welcome to the site!

You have probably noticed that we've been a little slow lately as a bunch of the guys have drifted off to do "other things". We've got a fairly steady group of guys playing arma 3 during the north american day, but only the odd flight at night unfortunately.

Some of us put up a couple of flights last weekend in ITO that were fun... looking forward to doing some more. If you're interested in taking a flight, post something up and let's see who's available. What's your experience level in Falcon?

Welcome again!

Welcome Moosedog! Like Harley says, been kinda slow lately, but with winter coming I expect that to change. I'm out of town this weekend, but might be able to jump in the pit Sunday night if I get home early enough. I'll check back Sunday night and see if anyone wants to fly. I'm ready to finish off that airfield Harley and I started on. Waddya say H?

Not sure yet Brian. But if you're going to fly, I definitely want to be there. I'll try to post something Saturday night when I have a better idea when I'm getting home. Hopefully I will be able to access the Internet where I'm going.

Thanks for the welcome guys. New to team speak and figuring out how to navigate etc. been playing falcon bms for a few months now and feel pretty comfortable. Watched all the tutorials by Krause and cavanagh haha. I'm an ER doctor and have a crazy schedule but would love to fly any time I get. Not sure if I have met all requirements to go online but I think so. Please use my personal e mail to let me know when we can contact each other on team speak and help set up all connections if need be.

Thanks

Btw- origin of moosedog is a not so interesting story as it may seem haha.

Teamspeak is a "no-brainer". Simply download the client for your particular operating system here: http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads

Once installed, you can join our server at 68.232.167.42:9220. (Edit: password is vc420) We typically use teamspeak pre and post flight (and to generally shoot the shit) and IVC in-flight. However, if you don't have IVC setup on your stick/throttle yet, we can use TS during flight as well, no problem. You'll have to bind a "push-to-talk" key. We flew with a guy last year that accidentally mapped his his teamspeak PTT to "weapon release" in falcon. Once we fenced in, he started firing off mavericks!! "OMG, what the hell is happening?" "IT DID IT AGAIN!!" "OH GOD NO.....". Funny. As. Hell.

As for scheduling, it's probably best if you let us know what works for you. I'd be happy to jump on with you any time in the evening, usually no earlier than 9pm EST... after the kiddies are off to bed. This week is touch-and-go for me, but thursday to sunday could work if you're interested/available. I'm probably not your best bet to help with any port forwarding, but if you need some assistance, we could work it out together. Post something in http://420th.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=15 when you're ready and we'll get some check flights in... nothing too fancy, unless you're up for it of course. Muahahaha! ;)

Good to hear back from you!
