Been thinking about starting up a thread like this for a while. I don't like to think that one of you guys could walk right by me when i'm just strolling down Rue de Halles in Brussels. :D

So here we go. I've tried to do a little write-up about myself, but it isn't working out. Sounds too much like a bio on eHarmony, so i'm just going to stick to the pics. :)

Harley invades the USA!

"Gassing up" with Canada (i.e. Tim Hortons) before skipping across the border. The body-cavity search was AWESOME!

During the invasion. Yes, that's a Froot Loops t-shirt. I was trying to fit in with the "average american". I busted out my pistol and fired a number of shots into the air a few times while tailgating. They accepted me as one of their own...

Harley and Mrs. Harley enjoying the game. I got so burnt that the skin all over my face is peeling today.

In the 1990's I was pretty heavily into motor sports. Spent 8 years in the NASCAR Winston Short Track Series working in pit crews. Last 4 years as crew chief. Would have to do some digging to find pics from those days (we used film back then) but I found a couple of shots of me driving at Kansas Speedway shortly after it was built.

Played a lot of paintball over the years...these were taken at D-Day Adventure Park in Wyandotte, Oklahoma. If you've never heard of it look it up, or check out Soldiers of Paint (documentary on Netflix) and see the next best thing to flight simming! I have participated in five D-Day events and it's basically a reenactment of the D-Day invasion with paintball weapons played on over 700 acres, that draws 3-4 thousand participants world wide playing in a 9 hour war that either side can win.

...and I could go on and on like this forever but this is turning into a huge post (put the pipe down man!) and I'm taking up too much space so I'll leave you to wonder about the rest for now!

-schnidrman out!

That's cool that you were involved with NASCAR. I'm a huge fan. Really only watch the Sprint Cup series but I do watch the results from the Nationwide series.

I did paintball once. That was enough for me :D Them welts didn't go away for two weeks, lol.

I have a high tolerance to pain, but I couldn't see subjecting my body to that. Although it was great fun, I must admit.

Nice shots from the airshow. I've been to one up in NH, also got to see an F15, it was cool.

Tks for the shots.

Brian
